The short answer
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site uses semantic HTML, visible focus states, sufficient colour contrast, alt text on images, and tables that scroll rather than overflow on small screens. If something does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
What we have done
- Semantic landmarks and a logical heading order on every template.
- Visible keyboard focus on all interactive elements, and a skip link to the main content.
- Body and heading colours tested against their backgrounds for WCAG AA contrast.
- Alt text on images. Images are illustrations and are described as such.
- Data tables use proper header cells and scroll horizontally inside their own container, so the page itself never scrolls sideways on a phone.
- Text resizes without breaking layout, and we respect reduced-motion preferences.
- A print stylesheet that drops navigation and keeps the article readable.
Known limits
This is a new site and we have not yet had it audited by a third party or tested with a full range of assistive technology. We are not going to claim a level of conformance we have not verified. If you hit a barrier, that is a defect and we want the report.
